Our phonics flashcards are a fantastic resource to help your child start to recognise the letters and sounds they will learn in phonics. Phonics is taught in schools and pre-schools across the UK. It helps children to recognise the letters of the alphabet and the sound that each letter makes. We know for most parents phonics is a completely new idea to them so we have included a information card that gives a summary of what phonics is and explain some of the key words used when talking about phonics.
Our flashcards come in two sets which correspond with the phase two and phase three sounds taught in schools. There is a beautiful hand drawn image to go with each letter to help your child recognsie the sound it makes. Your child can trace the letters with their fingers and use them to make words. They are an ideal resource for children from the age of 3 upwards who are just starting to learn phonics.
We have chosen to print them on Eco-Kraft card so that the print is easily visible and the children aren’t distracted by bright colours. This is particularly helpful for children with additional learning needs.
If you are buying your flashcards as a gift and would like to make it that little extra special, then you can add our special gift packaging from the drop down menu. This includes a uniquely illustrated Christmas card together with a handmade star decoration, all packaged in black recycled shredded paper. You can either have your card left blank or you can have a hand written message. Just make sure you add your message in the cart note section.
We always try to make our products as Eco-friendly as possible. So are cards are printed on A6 Eco Kraft recycled card 270gsm. They also come with an organic cotton bag to store them in - there is no plastic in sight!
